AAAARRRGGHH!
Has anyone else had this problem?
I am in the process of trying to obtain my CRC at the police station. But they don't want to do it because of.......
1. Privacy issues (It is for ME!!!).
2. They will be audited by the state....translation: They don't want to take
the time or spend the money to do it.
Anyone else run into the same thing(s)? What did you do about it?

| I'm pretty sure you don't need fingerprints. I didn't get fingerprinted when I renewed my visa, a few other people I know did't get it done either. Don't waste your time. |

I think what OP is trying to say is that he needs to get a Korean CRC because he has been here for a while.
OP - You might find that the problem is possibly that only some police stations can help you with the CRC - I know when I had to report my ARC as missing last year we had to go to a specific police station to report it - not every station could deal with it. |

Nope. Both times I went into a Korean cop shop for fingerprints, they obliged me without question once I explained it was for the RCMP. One of the cop shops was in a town of 25,000

| I took a Korean friend. Once they understood "chain of custody", they were cool with it and interested in meeeting me. I met the cops later that evening for my first makuli drunk. |
