I know its probably considered old-hat now, but recently I've been dowloading Ricky Gervais podcasts and having a right old laugh whilst travelling around Seoul. Karl Pilkington is amazing!! |

torn between Denis Leary and George Carlin...But Henry Rollins is a close second, not a first only because he does not identify as a comedian. |

A few weeks ago I looked at some old tapes from the 80's of George Carlin and instantly again made him my favorite stand-up comedian.
This past Thursday I was at the Laugh Factory (where Kramer went nuts) -- and there was a Korean-American comedian there by the name of Kevin Shea (Why Shea? He was adopted.). He was drunk, red-faced, and funny as hell.
At one point I thought he was about to go into a dangerous area when he started mentioning black people --- but then he looked some of the black audience members in the eye and was asking them what the word was that he's not allowed to say... lots of nervous laughter filled the club... but he stopped it by saying, "Forget it --- I don't wanna get all Kramer up in here." |

Hey Tiger,
I'm a big fan of Steel Pulse. Love "taxi Driver" and "State of Emergency" and Earth Crisis is one of my all time favorite reggae albums.

I'm with shifter2009 and animalbirdfish. Bill Hicks. Hopefully this thread will encourage any unfamiliars to look him up on youtube or download some of his albums (legally, of course, he needs the money). |
