I have a couple of slightly expensive watches, both of which broke last week (in one case the metal chain broke; in the other, part of the timepiece itself broke).
Any recommendations for a GOOD watch repair shop in Seoul? |

There's an old guy who refurb's old Rolexes (and other higher end watches) in a small shop across from McDonald's in the Itewon. He also has a bunch of brass stuff he sells, too. Has all kinds of brass stuff sitting out, his watch stand is in the back. He could probably fix anything you have |

Just as a follow-up on this, for anyone who's interested...if you go to Jongno 3-Ga exit 12 and walk a short distance (close to the intersection across from Jongmyo Park...I think that's what it's called) there's a little watch repair shop. The guy is certified in the States, and he's very good. He fixed both of my watches quickly...a little pricey (90K for both) but the one required a pretty extensive repair and new parts. So overall, I'm pleased... |
