How much is the charge on moving S Korean money home to United States? If it varies by bank, what is the average for you? What problems have you experienced from this?
Any help would be appreciated. |

Usually the Korean bank charges me like 10 or 15 dollars and then my credit union charges like 10 bucks. Mostly just because they can since its all done electronically, including the conversion. But oh well. |

Get a bank draft made out to someone who can deposit in your account, and mail it back. Think the cost is 5 thousand won. You can also make it out to yourself, then endorse it 'Deposit Only', and then mail it back to someone who can deposit it for you. |

You might consider opening a second bank account to use for wire purposes, if you elect to move money by wire at all. $30 seems rather high; my bank only charges $10 to receive, and some charge less than that. |
