I'm finishing up six months and looking to take advantage of the greater freedom to set up business within the country. I've talked to a few F2ers and while part time on my own terms is available and quite doable, it also looks dicier, with possibly wide variations in salary from month to month.
I think another year in a new school contract would be best but I'd like to find a principal who'd sign the form for the private tutor license so I could teach students outside the age range of the school (e.g. if teaching at elementary, then private teaching adults is okay, etc.)
Has this ever been done? Is it just a pipe dream or could it be a success? I think with my wife helping with the would-be contract details, it could go over well, assuming it is first possible. Informed, helpful opinions only, please. Thanks. |

Find a public school that will hire you part time then you don't have to worry about not getting a tutors license. |

the privates teachers licence is a waste of time and is only valid for your own home ( with a cap of 100,000 a month/per class). As far as I know, there is no such thing as a private tudors licence which enables you to teach at other peoples places.
Please let me know if I am wrong |
