I suppose this could go in the 'things you miss from the UK' thread, but here we are. The one thing I desperately miss from the UK are Pro-Plus caffeine tablets, they have about 50mg of caffeine in each, and are extremely convenient pick me ups, much more effective than drinking coffee. I've been missing them most in the morning and during the sleepy late afternoon 'free period' time which really should be used for lesson planning but invariably gets used for dozing or reading Facebook.

Is there an equivalent of these available in Seoul? I'm even prepared to sacrifice the enamel on my teeth and go for a heavily caffinated energy drink if it means I don't feel so goddamn sleepy all day.

there is a hangover remedy in a can in Korea. I'm sure somebody sells something that will make your hands shake, not sleep, and errode your stomach lining if that is what your little heart desires. As for what it is called I have no idea.

Not being a four year old girl, or confined to a plastic bubble on acount of being clinically feeble, I can handle a few mg of caffeine to wake me up. Thanks for the help.

It's not the same brand you mentioned, but it's the exact same stuff; caffeine's caffeine. You're probably best off ordering a couple bottles at once, since the shipping's 5000 won. You may or may not also need a Korean to help with site registration (but you don't need a Korean citizen number- just your ARC number will do). I think it would be quite a mission to find them here in the country outside this site, but this site is easily the best for ordering them in, as its Korean and you don't have to pay big shipping charges.

That stuff actually looks perfect, but I don't have a credit card, just my Hana Bank card, and I'm not sure what I can and can't use that for online. Would there be anywhere in Seoul that I could pick something like that up in-store, a body building or gym accessory store?

Some of the energy drinks do contain nicotine. I'm not sure if Bacchus is one of them but I thought it was. Look for 니코틴 on the label. Unless of course the label was saying that there's no nicotine. I just know I've seen 니코틴 on a label or two.

Which part of my comment is a common misunderstanding? I know for a fact that I have read the word 니코틴 on a "vitamin" drink label. Is 니코틴 Korean for B12?
