|
|
My flight to seoul is in 12 hours. It's 11:55pm here now and I'm planning to stay up all night so I can knock out on the plane and adjust to the time-zone difference when I arrive. Can you guys give me ideas on things to do to keep me up all night? List any cool websites you frequent; it'd be nice to know what kind of sites different people go to, we can all share. |

you're still gonna be wrecked when you come over, i just hope you don't have to go to your school straight away when you land, take a few days to relax and settle in before you start teaching.
you should just play some online poker or if you wanna watch some tv shows or documentaries etc then visit http://www11.alluc.org/alluc/ it's a good site. |

Reminds me of a riddle, "what do you get when you cross a rooster with a hoot owl ?"...

Just think of all the hagwan horror stories you have read on here and imagine that you heading to one of those jobs. |

If you've already passed the health exam, crystal meth works really well, I hear.
All BS aside, I've found that popping a few (properly prescribed, of course) Xanax or Valium a couple of hours into the trip sets me straight. Wait until after the first meal, then stop, pop, and drool.
Try to get a window seat so people aren't crawling over you, and make sure to get a "skip the meal" sticker to put on the seat back in front of you son the attendants don't try to wake you up.
I NEVER drink alcohol on an 6+ hour flight. Has caused nightmare hangover/jet lag for me in the past. Some people swear by it, but it has never worked for me. |

I stayed up with my sister and watched TV all night. Just drink a shit load of coffee. No problem. Still couldn't sleep much on the flight, though. |

LSD and wing-walking does it for me. The hours fly by, usually with lots of colours and voices. |

Drink tons of coffee so you'll be even more burnt out and tired when it wears off come flight time. Take one last walk through the neighborhood and watch the sunrise? That's what I would do... |

Scrabulous should take up a few hours; between drinking coffee and going to the bathroom.
Look up your favourite comedians on youtube, another few hours.
I found on long flights changing my watch to the destination time, midway through the flight helps adjusting to the time change better. |
