I thought I would ask for some friendly advice. Long story short forced into a damn teaching contest. Actually won the thing all for the Education Office to exclude my name from the certificate.

This only matters because I didn't want to do it. Decided to play along and do it after they raised nine kinds of hell about wanting to have the native teachers being involved and all this other BS.

I am just bent.. I know it probably shouldn't piss me off but it does. It would be a nice piece of paper to add to the resume especially since I am giong to be here a long long time..

Any thoughts?

Why should the CD player get a certificate?

Heck, yes. You were part of it, your name should be on it.

If they can't see the point, then next time remind them that you are NOT part of the team and can't help them AND show them the exclusion as proof.

Next time, offer to train the teachers doing the class. Explain that if they act as if you have no part in the class, you don't feel you should have any part.

They probably didn't think you would want a certificate, and they may also not have wanted an English name on it.

Well credit to my actual co-teachers and the "team" they all think that I should have been included on it. Whether my name was in Korean or English I Wouldn't really care. This was judged and awarded by the Office of Education.. The ones that pretty much forced/begged and pleaded for us to do it.
