I'm interested in doing my Masters in TESOL or Applied Linguistics. Can anyone suggest a good program (which is reputable and recognized by N.America)? I see a lot online, but don't know which ones are good and which are not.
Thanks |

I'm just finishing up a masters of applied linguistics through distance with the university of southern queensland in australia...it's not the cheapest but not the most expensive either and I'm leaving with a strong core from a well-reputed program...pm me if you want more info!

I've heard and read that the M.A. in Applied Linguistics from the University of Massachusetts is one of the best online programs available. According to what I read, the program can be completed in about eighteen months if one takes three courses per term. |

Agree. The entire program will run you about 11k American dollars. I already have a Universtiy job (I have a masters in French), so the cost sort of makes me hesitate. But after looking at the program and exchanging emails with them, I was impressed.
Also, the degree you get is identical to the degree you get from being there "in person". It doesn't say "online". |
