Has Arirgang finally been put out of its misery? I haven't seen it on the usual channel in about 4 weeks.
If it was... wow. Every once in a while Korea does something that makes me think, "hey, they actually are starting to get how much foreigners are laughing at them and realizing how pathetic they look" |

They seem to have made it a satellite only channel. So the majority of Koreans can't receive it. Afterall, c'mon, why would any Korean want to watch English programming!!!  It's not like they have an interest in learning English!!!  |

| Used to be a real feather in Korean TV a number of years ago, it seems. I remember my cable used to have it as one of the low channels, in among KBS etc. Then they moved it off to like the high 50s and then I think they sent it off to a premium tier. I liked it for the music video show in the morning. It gave one a chance to figure out the bands your kids were into. So when they were talking about "epic high" you knew they weren't talking about a high school. |

I was watching her show the other day, and cringing at her pigeon english. was wondering what the foreigners on the show were dreaming about as she yattered on and they had to pretend to be interested in what she was saying. she is hot though, but her english is dreadful. |

I got offered a seat on that show, but the AM taping sessions posed a scheduling conflict. During the first group meeting I had a chance to meet her. Another example of a star that looks great on camera, but not so much in person. WAY too much maintenance going on there. She's a mess without it.
I wouldn't kick her out of bed for eating crackers, but I don't think I'd leave the lights on. |
