Is it true that contracts written in English hold no legal weight in South Korea? This sounds like it could be an urban legend, but considering how shady many Koreans seem to be about other matters related to contracts, I thought it was worth asking. |

False. Labor and Pension offices routinely work with English-only contracts. And if you need to go to small claims court, you just go to a translation service and get it professionally translated. |
