I'm teaching an adult class of about 6 to 8 students and they want to learn survival English.
Anyone know of, or use any books that are good for adults?
Thanks. |

There's a book called Survival English that I like very much. It has pairwork exercises in the back that make the students talk to each other. Each has an incomplete set of information, and the other has the rest. They have to talk to each other to get the missing info. You basically can explain the activity, pair them up, and then walk around the room helping individual students while they work. |
