I'm teaching a class of three middle school students and I'm struggling to think of any games to play with them. The kids are a little old for the games that I would normally play. The text book is very dry and I would like to have some fun for the last 10-15 minutes of class, but the kids' ages and the small number of them makes it hard to find a game that would work. Any ideas?

I had a class where we built paper airplanes and then competed to see how far they'd fly.

Have them draw a monster and then write sentences describing what they drew.

Have them draw a "cartoon" and tell a story about it.

Running dialogue game... where each person adds a sentence or a word to the story...

Concentration (clap clap (apple), clap clap (banana), clap clap (pear)

Word train (applE, ElephanT, TraiN, NaveR...)

Balance or rock=scissor-paper game where the winner gets to try and do something for another point... 1 point for winning, 2 points for spelling the word correctly, or filling in the blank correctly.
