My contract ends in four months. Should I already be getting prepared to travel? As I understand it, you can't enter any country with a one way plane ticket without a tourist visa lined up beforehand. What a pain.
I want to go to Tokyo after my contract ends and then fly to Amsterdam and then to Cairo and then go back home in America. I'm also thinking about throwing in Bangkok after Tokyo....not sure yet about that one. My question is should I go to the consulates of all of these countries in Seoul and go ahead and get the tourist visas within the next month so I don't have to worry about problems? Or is there any way to set up a flight schedule through one company flying to all of these places for one ticket purchase price? I'm also thinking about throwing China in to the mix as well. Still not sure. |

STA travel are a good bet for info like that.

Is the Japanese website.
There is one in Seoul but it's under a different name.
A round the world ticket would do the job.
Look into Austrian Airways, seem to remember they did a decent around the world.
IAs long as you keep going in one direction it should be ok.
Might be better to pick it up from Japan then go to China, Thailand, Cairo, Amsterdam and home. 6 stop ticket. |
