The search function is buggered right now, so I appologize if this is a repeat.

I heard that there is a new rule about visa runs after the expiration of your contract. If you are released from your contract early (only 7 months into the contract), and you wait for a few days until the visa run for your next job, will you get into trouble and sent back to your home country to reapply there? Can someone verify this? (And, by "verify" I mean "I went through this myself/spoke to someone in immigration/found a web site/and here's what I found...") Actual stories, references, URLs, facts only, please. Smile

If you're released from your contract, you transfer. That's my understanding. If your visa expires, you do a visa a run to any country with a Korean embassy. You need a new job first though.
