Hello - my apologies if this is an obvious or often-asked question. I couldn't turn anything up using search.
I'm resigning from my hagwon job at the 6 month mark (I gave 2 months' notice). I have a part-time job on the weekends, and the boss there has offered me two weeks of full-time work after I'm done at the hagwon. I could use the extra money, but is it possible I'll have visa trouble leaving the country? My manager mentioned calling immigration to cancel my visa. Does this mean I have to leave the country right away?
Again, sorry if this has been asked before. Thank you! |

If your sponsor cancels your visa you should be given a 30 day exit order.
Having said that, working at the 2nd location, UNLESS you already have the blessing of the immigration office (it is noted on your ARC) is illegal.
Working there for the extra 2 weeks would only compound that illegality but if immigration hasn't discovered it yet, then, unless someone complains, they are not likely to catch you later. |
