I'm having dinner at a friend's house tonight, and his mother will be cooking dinner. Can anyone offer me a simple, polite phrase for "thank you for having me"? I don't think I can figure it out properly. |

I ate well (thank you for the meal) =
jal mog-o-sseum-nida / 잘 먹었습니다
Use this one after you finish the meal.
Thank you for your kindness =
jal-hae-ju-sho-sso gam-sam-ni-da / 잘 해주셨서 감사합니다
if translated literally, 'thank you for doing things for me so well' .
I recommend this one. I use it all the time when I want to thank elders. |
