Does anyone know if the Korean authorities/embassy definitely accepts the basic disclosure from Disclosure Scotland as evidence of the criminal record check? I can't seem to find a definitive answer anywhere? Thanks!

I doubt Korea has that definite idea about what to accept with England, so yes.

People here have done a disclosure Scotland because it's 30 days quicker than the English one and they've had no problem. With the notarized version you should be fine. As long as it's declared true then it's no problem.

I submitted one last year without any problems, but that was before the visa rules etc changed.

Did you submit it to the school or to Immigration?

I've been told that I need to submit one for renewing. The criminal check I did last year went to my Office of Education. It's gonna be an interesting week!

That'll be immigration then. My Canadian friend submitted hers to the Canadian Immigration to get her visa. She's been asked to submit again if she renews in July. (Hoping the PS elbow might be able to exert a little authority over the Immi) Dumb that.

(Sorry about Saturday. Bummer for BC. Watched the game on Justintv. Never been keen on Adebola, never been a goalscorer. Shame.)

Yeah, the result was a pisser, but one which didn't surprise me TBH. City's performance was probalby typical of their season; lot's of spirit and good movement of the ball etc, but not alot happening in front of goal. Thought the Hull goal was a peach. Not sure if they deserved the win on the day, but over the course of the season, I think they've deserved a place in the Premiership.
