Hey all, Im new to this board and am in need of some help
I am going to be in the gangnam area this summer...but apparently its very hard to find decent-priced housing in the area. I am looking for a (preferably) furnished one room/officetel with bathroom/shower/kitchen etc.
Can anyone help me out with this? I tried a couple of the sites that have been mentioned before on this site but it seems that a lot of the postings are either out of my price range or very misleading. Thank you!
oh and im looking for around...600,000-700,000 won. Thanks!

I will be there for approx 2 months...and unfortunately I do not have the income right now to lay down a larrgee amount for key money but i could manage some.
Sigh...oh to have a nice clean place to live in... |

I've heard that Gangnam is expensive, so I think you can get this for that price range. I'm not there yet, so I don't know. Oh god I hope I don't get bad karma for this.

With 10 million in key money, 600,000-700,000 a month is very do-able. Check with the real estate agent offices in the area of Kangnam you'd like to live in. |

thank you all for your replies.
I called some of the agents I found on places like oneroom.com and such and all of them have the same thing to say. It seems that with 700 the place Im likely to get will quite shabby. That being said I cannot afford to put down 10,000usd as of right now.

Flash, thank you very much for your reply! I will definitely look into that.
I saw in another forum that you were looking for a place in gangnam as well. Did you ever get information about that place near Seoul Uni of Education that Valkerie was talking about?
