I was always a big fan of his, and wasn't even aware he was ill until I read he had passed away. It seems to me that everyone remembers him most for "Tootsie", but I think his best work was "Out of Africa".

Yes. When I see him I always think of his role in Eyes Wide Shut for some reason.
Looking at his bio I've been seeing his films my entire life. From Jeremiah Johnston when I was a kid all the way to the Interpretor which I saw in Korea a couple of years ago. |

out of Africa a fantastic movie!
he was also a great actor!
