I just got back to Seoul yesterday and I'm feeling pretty bored. I'm meeting some friends tomorrow for the HBC music thing, but don't want to spend another night in the skeezy love motel desperately trying to work a stolen wireless connection and contemplating whether this move back to Seoul was a good idea or not. I don't have a phone yet, but you can PM me or reply if you're not busy. I'm seriously not crazy or that socially inept, but wouldn't mind catching a movie or dinner before my jetlag sets in again. My hotel is in the cluster of cheap places literally right outside Gangnam station exit 1.

I'll be there next month, I can go then. Too late I guess though?

Yeah that's not so helpful for the immediate situation, but you can look me up if you want when you arrive so you don't have to suffer the same angry love motel fate I'm facing tonight.

I appreciate it since I've never been there and don't really know what a love motel is. The school that hired me better be taking me to my apartment though.

I hope you get your apartment straight away. This motel is questionable to say the least and definitely not how you want to spend your first night in Seoul. I have a week here.

Well this is sad, but I'm starving so I'm just going to go see if that Mexican place I like near Kyobo still exists and try to catch the Indiana Jones movie, alone. If anyone wants to get lunch or something on Sunday, or if you live around the Gangnam station area and wouldn't mind hanging out some other time, I'm fairly certain I'll still be in this desperate for friendship state, so reply or send me a pm and I'll get back to you.

If I was in your area I'd catch a movie with you. Unfortunately I'm a looooong way away & also looking at another weekend ala solo. I do enjoy the rural life most of the time, but there are the odd times when I could really do with some social interaction with other English speakers. None of the teachers from work live here - they do the big commute each day. And there is a decided lack of other FTs.

Hope you find some company.
