You probably live in the most remote area of Ulsan. There are suppose to be lots of bars in Bangeojin. Also, because of Hyundai Heavy Industries there are lots of forgeign factory workers there. The foreigner bars are in Sangnam and Mugeo dong. However both are far away from where you live. They will cost you at least a 10,000 won taxi ride. If you go to Samsan dong, which might be a little closer to you, there are a few department stores to go shopping. Also, there are countless bars, restaurants and nightclubs in Samsan dong.

You're doing the right thing being proactive, nothing's going to simply arrive in ya lap in Ulsan. have you checked out the website ??
www.ulsanweb.com I think. Then there's the Ulsan Pear newspaper.

You're going to need providence on yr side. With a capital P.

Unfortunately that website's info has not been updated in about 3 years. A lot of those bars have gone or are no longer foreigner bars.

Ulsanweb is defunct, there is a facebook group called ulsan happenings with some stuff on it

The Ulsan pear died about a year ago, it was recently replaced by the Ulsan Sun, but that has since become the Korea Sun so is now no longer Ulsan focussed.

Of course. I should have guessed all that if I had taken a minute.

Although I was scarred for life by Ulsan, it was partially my own fault.
My previous gigs were marked by fortuitous happenings and I wrongly thought the trend would continue.

Let "Make it Happen" be written on yr forehead and be yr motto.

The Dynamic Soju (yes, I'm serious) Festival is on tonight at Ulsan University. There will be lots of foreigners there, friendly Koreans too if you're up for that.

I have no idea about the soju thing but to get to the universioty ask for Ulsan Day in mugadong. If you see any foreigners there they will direct youto haze or tombstones too, but they both have been a bit quiet as of late. Tomorrow Haze has a prty so might have a few people around.
