So I'm trying desperately to figure out why I can't dial out internationally from my cell phone, and the information on the Internets is confusing and difficult to find. I've got an SK phone, and all I want to do is make a call to renew my credit card... it's proving far more difficult than I thought. Apparently there are different dialing-out codes for cell phones and depending on your service provider and all this ridiculousness...

HELP PLEASE

Here is a link to a free service allowing you to call out from any country to a foreign destination. Just fill in the blanks and it should give you the connection. HOWEVER, if you are using a prepaid phone then you might have to select a different option than using your cellphone.

http://www.countrycallingcodes.com/

Hope this helps

get yourself a skype account. pretty straight forward and you can call 1800 numbers for free! great way to call revenue canada (or your respected tax agency) to get the low down on non residency status!

Thanks for the info. I ended up using 002 (instead of 001) and it worked.

Yeah, Skype should be useful. This is the only time in six months I've really needed to make such a call, though.

I dial 00727 and then for the US 1, and then the 10 digit number. It costs about $7.00 US an hour, bill comes in the mail.

I use KTF and just need to dial the country code and #, it's not too much more than the calling cards but I only use it when I'm traveling.
