found Coke Light (aka Diet Coke)
first saw it in Seoul yesterday in a 7-11 and was plotting on how to transport it back home if need be.
Then walking back from finally getting a chance to sunbathe and getting rid of that grotesquely pallid complexion.. I took an alternate route home..
and walking past an empty storefront.. I catch a glimpse of the magical white and red bottle in their storage.
as my heart aflutters, I look around, see it's merely used for storage.. but there is a convenience store right next to it.. walking inside excitedly I head for the refrigerator.. and EUREKA!!! lord Jesus I have found the sweet (but not too sweet like Coke Zero) Fountain! (unfortunately youth not included)
now if I can find myself a friend with priveleges I think I will be in semi heaven |

haven't made it out to Homeplus yet around here (I know there is one somewhere, but farther away) but E-mart didn't have it so I thought I was screwed. |

Diet Pepsi is the best, but of course, they don't sell it in Korea.
Diet Coke is not at all hard to find. |

That was uncalled for. Not all of us have half a decade in-country. Sometimes the little things are fun to talk about. Don't bring ants to our picnic, man. |

well in my particular case, it WAS (yet found it under my nose in the end) I went thru countless stores and E-mart with no results.
btw. also prefer Diet Pepsi, but not that different.
keep in mind it's only 2 weeks that I've been here. I'm still learning things as I go so to speak.
at least I'm not locked in my room posting on Dave's asking people how to get something to eat
and stevie, there's a solution for your pain - don't click. |

Family mart. If I cared, I could take a bus into Gumi. The owner of my hagwan already said I could fill up my water bottles at the school, so he's a champ. Filtered water! WOO! |

Paper is for teachers only. The kids drink out of metal cups which they rinse out and leave for the next person.... ... .... You heard me. |
