Yeah. They're changing out the mainline. And I know what you're thinking - inconvenient, but not a deal breaker, right? Just take a three day weekend in Seoul or Busan.

The hotels will be rammed. It's Memorial Day weekend.

So now I'm flushing my toilet with greywater that I also need to spongebathe in.

Anyone got some hints or tips for how to go an entire holiday weekend without water?

About 12 big bottles of water would do me fine for drinking, brushing my teeth and washing my face.

Drink beer if you need more bath time, dirty foreigner!

That's affirmative, but a guy's gotta take a dump at least once a day, know what I mean? The old bathtub trick comes from my dad who lives in the sticks back home. No electricity = no water, so every time there's a storm brewing, he fills up the bathtub. It's saved his ass more than a few times.

.... You can flush a toilet with a bucket of water, I'm just saying, I've never been through a planned outage like this, and I want to know if there are any quirks to it.

Do it Borat style: Crap in a bag. Then bring it to the local water department.

I have found that the cities usually empty when there is a national holiday, so it should be easier to get a hotel in one of the bigger cities....Koreans leave seoul and go back to the countryside to be with their family, i went to seoul for seolnal(spelling??) and the place was empty...it was great!!!
