If you live in Ilsan and you don't wanna go to Seoul for your kicks then Lafesta is probably where you'll end up.
Restaurants, bars, shopping, movies theaters, etc. |

How close are you to La Festa? Can you see it from your place? There's a GREAT 24 hour gym on the entire top floor of a building very close to La Festa (near Watsons). |

I'm at a gym close to LaFesta, and its great!
I work out just about every day, so let me know if you want me to show you where it is and show you around.
I live close to LaFesta and WesternDom. Its a great area.

Oh yes, if you just want to have a guided tour of the sights, I'm also happy to do that... Bit starved for English speaking company sometimes. |

the gym I'm at is called Spopark, but there are LOTS of gyms around here. I was going to a different gym every day for more than a week for "a free session to try the place out" before finally deciding on one.
spopark has a website: http://spopark.co.kr/
its cool: they give you a t-shirt and shorts and a couple of towels when you come in, which you dump in a laundry hamper in the locker rooms before leaving, so you don't even have to wash your own sweaty gym clothes...
most of the koreans seem to go there to use treadmills and elliptical trainers, (or practice golf on the other floor, or do aerobics/yoga/spinning), not weights, so I never have to wait to use anything: the weight training area is well equipped but not used much, which suits me just fine |

I just happend to be visiting Ilsan and passed thru Lafesta last night and I was thoroughly impressed! Everything seemed modern, new and exciting with the whole area lit up. Restaurants, theaters, bars, shops, heck I was even amazed to even see a Watson's out here (hoping they'd have "real" deoderant but no luck). I'm going make it a point to spend the day and night there checking everything out the next time I'm around. |
