I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about working for the national universities like Busan National University. And/or, if you do work for one what are your normal hours (besides class). I've always heard that the university gigs (outside of the uni-kwons) are the end all be all, but wouldn't the prep time be astronomical? Is there a big difference between the private and public Uni's here?
I'm currently in the mix of interviews and would greatly appreciate the heads up. |

One warning: stay away from Kunsan National University. There's plenty of reports out there and former employees of the place to warn you away from it. Bad news by all accounts (unpaid severance, pension, medical issues; stolen wages, illegal business classes, plus working as many hours as a hagwon). |
