I want to pick up some reasonably priced rock climbing shoes over here for indoor climbing (I usually wear old trainers, but my local wall has banned them). I was pinning my hopes on a North Face shop near my apartment, but they didn't have any...I also don't have the Korean ability to use GMarket (and there aren't any in the English shop).
So, does anyone know where I might be able to pick some up? And if the answer is "Namdaemun", specifics about where the shop/stall might be located would be great.  |

The answer is Namdaemun (it could be Tongdaemun, but it's harder to describe how to find the shops).
Go to 회현 station (the Namdaemun station) on line #4. All along the big street (between the northeast and northwest exits and just past on either side) are a number of camping stores. A few of those have climbing gear. |
