|
|
My travel mate is arriving at terminal 1 at 10:30 PM and I will be arriving via Philippines Air @ Terminal 2 at 11:30 pm. (Both lone females)
I am assuming that no shuttle either way will be available at that time of night. How do I get to terminal 1 from terminal 2 late at night? Is it walking distance (not that Im 100% sure I would want to!), are the taxis reliable?
I have been to Manila before but I cannot remember how it went down.
Also, anyone ever stay at the Airport Hotel? How horrible is it? We will be taking a domestic flight early in the AM on Saturday so don't wanna go into the city.
ANY advice is appreciated |

| Just take a taxi, do not take the horrendously overpriced airport taxis just take a normal one and insist on the meter. Malate is not too far from the airport and means you get to see a bit of the dump that is Manila |

What terminal are you flying out of for your domestic flight?
NAIA 1, 3 or the domestic? (If it is NOT a PAL flight it won't be NAIA2).
Also, the red-eye flight (manila to cebu) on Cebu-pacific flies (or used to fly) out of Terminal 1 and NOT the domestic terminal.
Take one of the overpriced cabs from the counter.
IGNORE THE TOUTS and DON'T let anyone help you with your bags.
As a lone female late at night, don't go looking for a meter cab (you would be asking for problems).
Pack light and keep your stuff with you in the cab (not in the trunk/boot).

I will be arriving on PAL, so its terminal 2. I found a map, and I know it isn't THAT far. Had it not been 11:30 pm and me by myself, I wouldn't care really.
My question is if I arrive at 11:30 pm, will the airport service counter still be open? As I recall, last time I arrived in Manila it was late, and EVERYTHING was closed. I would LIKE to avoid the taxi guys outside as I dont fully trust them.
BUT, problem solved, the Manila airport hotel offers Airport pickup for P150. Let's just hope Im not left there. I always have a plan B tho |

Oh sorry, read ur post wrong!
My domestic flight will be in the AM (around 8-10 am). I have yet to buy the domestic one, but in the morning, in daylight , I am not worried about getting to the airport.
There was a great map online that I dont have handy, explaining each terminal and each airline flying out of it.
Thanks tho! Oh and as I know, terminal 3 has yet to be open? OR have they opened it?? |
