Just came home to a sweltering apartment!
I'm not much of a morning person, so I seldom shower in the mornings...especially when I'm rushing for work.
Today was a little different, got up early and had a nice refreshing shower...and in my rush forgot to turn off the hot water... so its been running at 73degrees for 9 hours straight! Well I've probably doubled my gas bill for the month... |

In about another month and a half you'll be taking two showers a day. Chances are you won't want the boiler on for either shower. |

I don't think your bill will be double unless you actually had the hot water RUNNING for 9 hours. |

hehe....the water was at 73C when I got home and had been there for a good 9 hours...it also heated the floor up (far hotter than when I've used the ondol setting in winter). My apartment was literally roasting...the floor was uncomfortable to have my barefeet on...think of a tennis court in summer... I had the airconn on for about 6 hours straight...and it was still uncomfortable when I went to bed.
On the plus side, my washing dried in record time |
