Hi all,

if any of the forum experts could please advise...

is an airfare to home country (at contract completion) normally provided, if i land a hogwan job while i'm actually in Korea (requiring a visa run to Japan)?

thanks in advance for any answers

Probably, but I'd certainly make sure it's in the contract, and not sign if it isn't...

It is NORMALLY provided

BUT

Only if it says so in your contract. Don't assume anything. Get it in writing or be prepared to lose it.

depth...

It looks like you've worked here before...or have changed jobs...so absolutely airfare is provided.

You should have language in your contract stating something to the effect of roundtrip airfare being provided...a stipend from your employer or your employer completely paying and scheduling your visa run. And, upon completion of your contract...a ticket home.

Some people even successfully negotiate a little bonus for signing in Korea...since you are saving your employer a few hundred bucks...and maybe more depending on your home country.
