| I'll be arriving in Cebu on a Sunday and want to do some quick contact lens shopping at Gaisano-Mactan mall (suggested by ttompatz) before going to Bantayan. Will it be open on a Sunday morning? Are most things open on a Sunday in the Philippines? I thought it's a Catholic country so that's why I'm asking. |

Yes, they are but they open late 10 or 11ish in the morning. Most things (other than banks and government offices) are open on Sundays.
