"3d Accelerated Graphics Card"... Hmm, sounds fancy.
Go to Yongsan, buy anything with the word "GeForce" on it. |

It will help a lot if you can be a lot more specific about what exactly is in your PC.
Desktop/Notebook
What are the exact specifications?
What other games are you going to play on it?
You could easily spend too much or not enough here so it's good to do your homework first. If you can't answer the above questions then buy a PS3/Xbox360. |

Myself being an avid NHL series fan, (played each year's version since it started inn 1990 on my Sega genesis) I can tell you that the last few years the PC version has fracking blown compared to the Xbox 360 version. Heck NHL 2007 (and now 2008) were the reasons for me BUYING an Xbox 360.
All the new features are simply left out of the PC version, so if you're looking at it advertised and think "Cool I can deke use my USB controller and skate with one stick and deke with the other, you are sadly mistaken". EA hasn't given a crap about the PC version since NHL 2006 and they won't start now. Save yourself the time/hassle and letdown by buying an Xbox 360. I can personally vouch that NHL 2008 will have you glued to your seat, plus Xbox live is great too. Good luck.............. |
