Hi,

If you were to shell out a few million won on something, would you be better to use a UK card(if they would take it) or a Korean card?

Thanks for any advice,
Ken

It all depends where you use it... In Korea, use a Korean card. In the UK, use a British card. If you go about it arse over tit, you will be increasing the price by paying the exchange rate.

agreed

they are still gonna charge you the exchange rate the bank offers anyway so i doubt it would work out any better to use a u.k card, plus you then have to cope with any fees that arise from using that card.

maybe if you could pay in pounds(cash), some dodgier placed might be able to give you a better price if they can get a good rate for the cash
