Jeju is a great getaway for a few days.
Rent a scooter, hike up Halla san, enjoy sex museums and good scuba diving in Seogwipo. The dive shop is owned by a foreigner who speaks English, German and Korean. His name is Ralf. His website for diving or general Jeju info is at www.bigblue33.co.kr. |

Uilleong-do is even better. It's smaller less developed and less expensive.
You can take a ferry around the island and they sell freshly killed raw fish
right out of the sea for 10 000 W for a big plate. That you can easily share with another person.
They have a ferry ride that takes you around the entire island and lasts a whole afternoon. There is a ferry on Cheju-do that shows you several small islands and lasts less than 20 minutes. |
