Alright, I know people have posted about the income tax more than once, but the links people keep giving to calculate income tax based on income shows up in Korean. Any valid English links?
And why do people keep quoting really low rates on here when places like http://www.esljobproject.com/esl_info/taxes_korea.html say it's 5-10%?

Thanks a ton for your help!
Very Happy

Try the Korean tax service for specifics:
http://www.nts.go.kr/eng/
and the tax calculator is here:
http://www.nts.go.kr/eng/help/help_52.asp?top_code=H001&sub_code=HS05&ssub_code=HSE2

Input your salary in man-won (so a salary of 2.2 mil = 2200).

Your read so many replies about how much tax(3.3%) should be deducted, that one often gets confused.
I earn 1.9 million and 64 000 gets deducted from my salary.
When I called the foreign taxpayer's office(02 3971440),he said that it was correct.
