|
|
Ive tried to look into this on my own but I dont speak or read korean and I am not coming up with very much.
What are my options if I am trying to get from Pusan to Seoul? Time really isnt a factor, I have all day and would rather spend less on the fare.
Is a bus or a subway the best option? What are the websites I should be looking at? |

It would be one very long subway line that went all the way from Busan to Seoul. I take it you don't have much experience with public transport. Just take a train or bus which involves going to a train or bus station. It takes all of 3 seconds to google it.

My girlfriend's brother rode his bike from his house in Seoul to my place in Busan. Took about 10 days, and didn't cost too much. |

Your best bet is probably by Express Bus. There's a number here for the Busan Express Bus terminal - as well as a lot of other transportation info.
Express Bus from Busan to Seoul costs about 25,000 won and takes about 5 hours.

The KTX train is at least twice as fast - but costs a lot more. |

A subway from one of the southern most cities of Korea to Seoul? Sorry, but that is just assinine. I guess I should get a hobby too. I know how to reseach things on the internet at least. The KTX isn't a subway btw. |

seriously, you people have issues. and theyre obvious.
you clearly knew what i meant. i dont know how things are referred to in this country. here, i have only heard people make reference to subway stations, not train stations. for all i know trains might start in underground stations and move above ground later on in the trip. maybe there isn't a distinction between subways and trains here. i have no idea. i haven't been here very long.
you need hobbies because there is no reason for you to be spending your time making this kind of comment. if you don't take that advice, no problem.
i did search some for sites but mostly came up with ones that were not in english. i asked on here because i was curious if any of the reasonable people on here knew of some that were particularly easy to use. i got what i was looking for and am thankful to those reasonable posters.
those of us who aren't total social rejects do this sometimes. we ask around. if you weren't busy commenting on subjects (and then revising those comments, matman) that clearly have no interest for you, you might be more familiar with this.
its obvious what is going on here. you are looked down on every day in this country. you can't say anything to these people so you come here to make yourselves feel better. you try to make criticisms so that you feel less inferior. seriously, get a hobby. im done responding to this. |

Train costs 26,500 won and take 5.5 hours. The internet is your friend. |

Interesting how you project your own social inadequacy onto others. |

Well, if you do decide to respond, make sure you do it with perfect grammar and spelling, because if you make one tiny mistake everyone will say you're a worthless failure and loser at life who probably couldn't teach a penguin how to waddle, let alone teach other people how to speak English. |

well yeah, but most people don't move to a foreign country without having at least some idea how far apart the two major cities in that country are from each other...
I mean it's kinda like someone showing up in Canada and asking the neighbors if he can take a taxi from Toronto to Vancouver...no? |
