Johnny Rotten charged with beating woman

Quote:
Sex Pistols singer Johnny Rotten has been charged in a civil lawsuit filed in Los Angeles with beating a woman during the taping of a reality show.

Roxane Davis, an assistant producer in a reality TV show that featured Rotten, 52, said the former punk rocker hit her because he didn't like the hotel room he was given.

The alleged aggression in January 2007 did not lead to criminal charges, but Davis is suing Rotten - whose real name is John Lydon - for sexual harassment and assault.

A spokesman for the singer said that Rotten was not available for comment.

Those ageing rock stars just have to do something to claim the limelight for a brief moment all over again. usually something really stupid , wacky or juvenile.

At least Bono has decided spearheading charities is the best way to do it.

For old guys, the short-haired thing usually works better than the long-haired thing. Long hair tends to draw attention to how old the rest of your body looks.

Don't even think you can compair these two. Bono is a complete wanker.
He doesn't even approach the genius of John Lydon. Actually you're an idiot if you think that Bono the dork mullet even comes close to Lydon.

Watch the Filth and The Fury or Read No Dogs No Blacks and No Irish.
Get the truth not the media lies.
Lydon is still relevent today and Miles better than the crap that comes out of Green Day.

I think the talent of Johnny Rotten as well as his contribution to modern music are much underestimated. He seems like a great guy. Hopefully this silly lawsuit will be dismissed.

I'm not sure talent is an approprate word. I'd say he had the balls to do what was needed to be done. Can anyone remember how bad most early seventies progressive rock was? There was a whole indusry that was based on keeping dinosours like King Crimson, Yes, and ELP going. It needed to be Destroyed. Could you imagine how bad things would be if we were still listening to concept albums.

Your role models are juvenile idiots?

So...because he was supposedly a talented musician....all crimes he commits should be forgiven?

U must really be a naive little hero worshipper. I suppose you want them to let Gary Glitter out of jail even though he sexually abused children?

I wasn't talking about the quality of their music you tit.
I mean the ever more desperate antics they come up with as they get older and want attention.
