I'm selling my gym membership
There are 7 months left on the membership (starting whenever you want).
Human Active (www.humanactive.co.kr) is a very sweet, new gym that just opened at the beginning of this year. They have a gym at Seollung Station (bundang line) and another one, opening in June, at Hanti station (same line). The membership can be used at both locations.
This fitness center has been touted as the place to go for those who lost out when California Fitness (formerly the largest and best) went bankrupt. Though not the same size (only one floor), the Human Active facility is new and very nice. They have some of the best equipment I've used. The free-weight section is substantial with dumbells up to 100lbs, and like every other gym in Korea, they have weight machines and more cardio machines than they'd ever need. They also have a sauna, mist room, and cold/hot spas.
The huge difference I've found between this gym and every other gym I've been to in Korea, is that the training staff are very qualified, very fit, and quite friendly. They usually have at least 4 trainers (2 men and 2 women) on the clock at all times.
That said, the prices for a membership at Human active are as follows.
1 month = 150,000won
12 months = 1,440,000won (120k/month) <==cheapest value per month and the amount I paid
I'm selling my membership for...
7 months = 750,000won (~107k/month) OBO
There aren't any other fees associated with this.
**The direct refund I'd get from the gym is about 700,000 won. I want to give someone a great chance to get a good deal with going to this gym. The normal price is quite outrageous, but with the discount I'm offering, you really can't find this quality cheaper elsewhere in the Gangnam area.**
AVAILABLE immediately and the seven months start as soon as you sign up.
If you'd like to check out the gym before deciding, go out exit 4 at Seolleung Station, and it's on the 5th floor of the building (Hanshin Intervalley Building) just past the S-oil station. It's a 2-3 minute walk from the station.
