Hi all! I'm new to the board, and I just have some questions about the ETIS Program (SMOE):
Any gyopos working for SMOE?
I'm a gyopo, and I just found out that I got an interview with them. Not sure what my chances are, but does anybody know how SMOE is with that?
Thanks!
(Sorry if this has been posted before, I can't figure out how to use search!) |

Tons of gyopos work for SMOE, they don't care what ethnicity you are. |

I'm a gyopo. I've been working for the SMOE for almost two years now and recently signed on for a third year. You have absolutely nothing to worry about.
The vice-principal at my school told me that one of the questions asked of the school was if they wouldn't mind having a Korean-American teacher. So if you get hired and get placed at a school, you should feel confident that it's a non-issue. |
