Its flash based so there's no moving parts whatsoever. You could put that in a F1 car and play videos which I think they do anyway.
The problem is that it has a limited lifespan and for the cost its not worth it. |

I dunno, seems like a fairly long life.
Can't find info on the cost but guessing around 5-600 for this unit. |

| I actually have a flash base SSD notebook and the drive is rated to last 10 years on constant writing and rewriting activities. I think SSD is great for those doing a lot of media work, compilations and software development but for the average user its a premium option. Until they become cheaper I'm not replacing my 10 TBs of stuff any time soon. |
