I found this weird looking ant-like insect crawling on me after I took the poochie for a walk in the park today. It has 10 limbs, 8 legs and 2 feelers... not antennae because they're attached to the thorax. It's mandibles are also huge for the size of its body. I usually throw any insect I find in my apartment out the window but this one has got me mystified. I've never seen anything like it. Hopefully it doesn't escape the jar I've got it in.
Anybody seen a similar creature. It looks like a medium sized farmer ant and first glance. On closer inspection though the additional limbs and big honking choppers are readily apparent. |

i found the humidity insect in my sink, the one with a million legs.... anyone has a picture? is it dangerous? |

Sounds like an earwig to me. We killed one every day almost in our rural apartment building. Is this the guy?
