It's really no different other than you have to get your criminal background check apostillized from your Secretary of State. This apostille thing falls under some law invented in the Hague, Netherlands that is an international standard for authenicating documents used across borders.
If you have had an E-2 visa and are going public school, it's still quite easy with no consulate interviews and the same same except the CBC apostille. If joining a hagwon, it's much harder than public school as the Korean government is looking to bring English education to the masses in public schools.
Upon accepting a job with a recruiter, it takes about 1 month like before; maybe longer if you drag it out a little as to give you a few more days to prepare and say bye. I'm getting ready to go my 2nd round in a few weeks myself.
Good luck to you. |
