Great. Bus burning, cornering police, ripping riot grills off buses. I wonder if any of these peaceful protesters got kicked in the head?

Simple solution: Stay home and become a vegetarian.

I know the Police are really hamstrung as once they start fighting back and injure someone it's all over the news. But, I think when it gets to that stage, first you use the water cannons, then the tear gas to drive them away and then bring out the rubber bullets for those who refuse to go.

Some of these hardcore protesters are basically thugs using this as an excuse to beat on the cops, why treat them so gently?

They need to start arming the police with electric cattle prods.

That'll do the trick.

I agree. The girl who got her ass kicked by the cop, that's one thing, but this guy with the shovel goes right for the cop and murderously assaults him. It's ridiculous.

ah, what happened to the good old days when the riot police used tear gas. it made for much more dramatic pictures and video. tear gas was what separated the hardcore protesters from the panzy followers.
