Hi ,
I think I may have posted this in the wrong place , Anyway I was wondering are there teaching jobs in Korea that are not contracted for more than one year, for like 2-3months as I plan to do some teaching there after my degree ? Iv been looking at gap year companies but they seem to only offer for one year. Any advice or pointing to the right direction appreciated.

Sure, you can easily find 2-3 month gigs if you have an F series visa (Kyopo or married to a Korean) and your own housing.
If you'll be coming over on an E2 (teaching visa), then, no, no place will sponsor your visa, fly you over here, and house you for that short of a period of time. Hell, it usually takes someone longer than that to get used to teaching!
Having said that, there are cheesy camp programs held in the summers that sometimes pick up people short term. They usually hire directly from within Korea, but you never know. Keep an eye on the job boards for 'camps'. |

I'll testify to the accuracy of the previous post. Your best bet is summer camp. |
