One rainy night somewhere in China, I got completely absorbed in Hero for about a half hour, though I don't speak more than a couple of words of Chinese. The imagery was that good. |

Far from heaven is beautifully shot.
The thin red line.
A violent movie, but photography is beautiful....particularly the wind blowing the tall grass. |

Puts me in mind of The Scent of Green Papaya (Vietnamese). I didnt understand a word of the dialog but the story is simple & the cinematography is awesome. |

Legends of the Fall.........beautiful cinematography. I guess it doesn't hurt (for guys and gals) that you have Julia Ormond and Brad Pitt to look at , as well.  |
