I went up to Itaewon for the weekend with my GF and we hit a lot of bars and checked my balance and discovered that it was 600,000 won short of what it shgould be. I checked all of my reciepts and there is nothing strange or what I don't remember. I spent aroung 120,000 on a Mexican restaurant and various bars....not 720, 000! I am pissed. Some bargirl or someone must have raped my credit card when they held it. Itaewon is just one big cess pool. By far the sleaziest place I have been to in Korea. And no, I didn't buy any women if that's what you are wondering...I was with my GF.

Anyone think I should take all of my money out of my account? Is it in danger of getting robbed again from the same person who did it? I have my check card with me right now, so no one stole it.

Sometimes I happen across your posts and I wonder:

Are you simply a troll, or can it be you are the dumbest person to grace Korea in some years?

do you trust your gf??

Once I had the same thing happen. I woke up and my gal, now an ex, was sleeping beside me. we were in thailand and she had been out the night before, while I was hung over. I had 5000 baht charge on my cash card, which she knew the secret code to. I asked her about it, she denied, denied, then I threatened to break up with her and she confessed, telling me how she wanted to BUY ME A SURPRISE WITH MY OWN MONEY.

Hey, *beep* you! There is 600,000 won stolen from my account. That has nothing to do with my intelligence.

You need to update your bankbook and find out where it went. Then go from there. It's really that simple.

Just update your bank book and see what transactions were done. Then you can do what you need.

Don't make fun of skipped periods. If your luck is as bad as the others have implied, karma may come back as a missed period to bite you or someone you love (or have been loving). Laughing

The first thing I would have done was to update the checkbook, like others have said. If you didn't think of that, you may want to step back and then reevaluate the situation.
