person? I amplanning on getting my China visa and just winging it after I arrive in Beijing. I really want to take that train. Are there things that I should be doing right now to get the Tibet Permit and train ticket? Or can I get all of that easily at the train station in Beijing? |

whenever you want to buy a train tkt in China it's recommended you ask your hotel to book it for you.
try googling around for more info on riding the rails in China - you might want to be prepared - it can be quite an experience, tho not comparable I'm sure to seeing the Yeti - still - you are going to Tibet - maybe you'll get lucky |

You'll be bored out of your sorry little mind after the first day on the train, I'd take the plane to Chengdu & travel from there. Loads of the guesthouses can organize Tibet visa's and at not much cost either.
I take it you're clever enough to be travelling after the Olympics have finished? (I know this is obvious but you do have history of being a bit of a fuckwit OP) |

Tibet ranks up there with Detroit & Compton. I don't think you've got a chance making it out of there alive. What's wrong with Colorado or HH in Itaweon? Was on HH last weekend and it was one hell of a climb to the top! |
