I am curious about the area around Deungcheon-dong (둔촌동). It looks like it is on the north-east corner of Olympic park - is that about right? I have never been over there before. Does anyone live around there? What is it like? Are things easily accessible? Does anyone have any idea about apartment costs for wolse (월세)? Any information on the area will help me save a trip over there to walk around.

You are talking about Deungcheon dong in Kangseo gu in SW Seoul, close to Hwagok dong, on the way to Kimpo si, I think. Not the one by Jamsil. |

No, I am talking about the one in Jamshil. It's on line #5, right near Olympic Park. |

That's Duncheon dong, not Deung cheon dong. And, um, it's more expensive that Deung cheon dong, more suburban, more apartment towers, fewer villas, wider roads. That is all I know. Good luck. |

I go past on the bus once or twice a week. Nice area (the park nearby is a good bonus) but it won't be very cheap. |
