I don't know about the avilability of something like that here ... But something that it is perhaps useful to know is that overall Broadband Internet here is generally much cheaper and much more widely available and indeed faster ... than many other places in the world ...
Did you have a particular reason for wanting prepaid Internet? Last year I paid a total of 27,000 won for both Unlimited Fast Broadband AND my cable TV per month ... This year (in a different place) both happens to be free for me because it has been included as one of the things provided in the flat (which was brand new) ... |

You'll be hard pressed to find anything that slow or that expensive here.
Most (if not all laptops have wireless) and nespot is readily available everywhere (the whole country is a hotspot).
If you are looking at home use, KT or Hannaro (among others) have next day hookups for 10bT, 100bT or FDDH (fiber) for less than 20 quid per month and NO limits on your "data allowance". There is no extra "out of bundle charge" either. I routinely up/download several terabytes per week.
IF you don't want a contract, don't get one. The difference is about 2000-4000 won per month in the payment. If you break a contract early, you only get stuck with the unpaid difference between your rate and the monthly (non-contract rate).

Thanks. I didn't know fibre was that cheap or easy to get. I was thinking I might be without internet until I get an ARC but that probably isn't so. |
